As a Senior Account Executive for our Public Sector, you will focus on new logo acquisition and have high impact on our new business revenue growth while, building on your previous experiences, becoming an industry-leading expert in complex software sales.
Role Responsibilities: “What You’ll Do”

Acquisition of new customers in the Public Sector Germany Team, one of the fastest-growing segments at Personio – with monthly sales targets, OTI, and accelerators for exceeding targets.

Diverse opportunities to strategically expand the public sector from several hundred to thousands of customers, with exciting development prospects for you.

Building a pipeline in close coordination with the dedicated marketing and sales development team.

Optimal support through the prioritization of this sector by the Personio management team, including a trained legal department (e.g., for tenders, EVB-IT Cloud) and dedicated solution engineers.

Managing the entire sales cycle – from qualified opportunity to contract conclusion. This is followed by the handover to our account management team.

In-depth qualification of the customer situation, both in the HR domain and for the entire organization. Based on this, you will develop the business case for Personio

External stakeholder management, primarily with HR, IT, project management, procurement offices, external consultants, legal teams, and C-level management
Role Requirements: “What You Need to Succeed”

You have at least 5 years of experience in new customer sales for B2B SaaS or B2B software solutions, including at least 3 years in the public sector.

You have experience with complex software procurement and tendering processes for organizations with more than 500 employees.

You are passionate about the digitalization of the public sector.

You bring a strong entrepreneurial mindset, are eager to actively shape the growth and development of the public sector, and are willing to explore new approaches to achieve this.

You possess excellent qualification skills, enabling you to identify needs both at a functional level (HR) and at the organizational level.

You have completed high-quality sales training, ideally following the MEDDIC framework.

You are intrinsically motivated and challenge yourself daily to improve.
