Role Summary
The Scheduler / Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for capital projects within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role ensures accurate planning, progress tracking, and schedule performance reporting to support compliant, safe, and on-time project execution aligned with GMP and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using client approved scheduling tools.
- Apply scheduling techniques including logic development, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and look-ahead planning.
- Produce regular schedule updates, progress reports, and schedule performance analyses.
- Perform schedule risk analysis and identify delays, conflicts, and dependencies across projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve scheduling issues and optimize execution sequencing.
- Support integration and alignment of schedules across multiple capital projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Relevant technical degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of scheduling experience in the regulated industry.
- Experience in project scheduling or planning within capital projects, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or equivalent).
- Understanding of critical path method (CPM) and project planning principles.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments and project lifecycle phases (design, construction, commissioning).
- Exposure to integrated project controls environments.
