The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for owning and operating Genedata’s Salesforce production environment, ensuring platform stability, security, compliance, and high‑quality day‑to‑day operations across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Finance processes.
This position reports to the IT Business Applications Manager and is part of the IT Business Applications team, located in Basel, Switzerland, and is an on‑site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own and manage the Salesforce production environment, ensuring stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Act as first point of contact for Salesforce incidents and service requests, managing the support queue and triage process.
- Administer users and security, including profiles, permission sets, roles, access reviews, and compliance‑related controls.
- Manage Salesforce releases, sandboxes, platform updates, and production deployments in accordance with internal change and release processes.
- Execute data management activities (e.g., Data Loader) and maintain operational and audit‑ready documentation.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Multiple years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator supporting a business‑critical Salesforce environment.
- Proven proficiency in Salesforce administration, including user management, security configuration, objects, fields, validation rules, and basic automation (Flows, approvals).
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Data Loader and data operations.
- Experience supporting Salesforce in a controlled or regulated environment.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM‑201) or equivalent current certification.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Salesforce release management and controlled production deployments.
- Supporting Salesforce environments integrated with finance or ERP systems.
