The Opportunity
As the Worksite Channel Manager, you’ll manage the relationship with MassMutual Financial Advisors (MMFA) for Voluntary & Executive sales results in 100-1000,000 plus life space. You’ll create strategy to maintain existing and strengthen relationships between home office and the MMFA channel.

The Worksite Insurance business is growing as we aim to reach middle class workers in support of the company’s vision to provide financial well-being to all Americans. Worksite has achieved success in recent years distributing our Group Voluntary and Executive products through our multi-channel distribution relationships. To further this success, we must continue to evolve our strategy to reach more advisors and customers, which means growing our sales team in key locations, while providing them an enhanced self-service, digital experience to allow us to aggressively grow top line sales.
The Impact:
As the Worksite Channel Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Work closely and effectively with MMFA on a national basis: to enhance and leverage all possible points of contact within the distribution partner group, to introduce and/or expand the Worksite product line.
- Manages MMFA relationship including enhancing the knowledge of the division’s sales associates and establishing the levels of service, and support to the channel.
- Manage and enhance all existing relationship by extending the reach of all available Worksite products and services and grow the business.
- Develop and execute a clear and concise strategic business plan.
- Maintain an effective flow of communication of all forms (in-person visits, emails, telephone contact, faxes, etc.) with MMFA partners to educate, train and foster strong relationships and loyalty towards Worksite.
- Provide information to educate and inform channel partners, be the key participant and representative of Worksite at appropriate national and/or regional meetings and seminars, work with Worksite and channel partner marketing executives to create and develop effective and partner-specific sales ideas and strategic initiatives, and work to support and extend the reach of all Worksite sales representatives.
- Create, maintain, and deliver effective and timely reporting related to channel results
- Represent Worksite in relationship with AAX/GAX committees
The Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of relationship management or sales experience
- 1+ year of experience working with a general agency system
- 1+ year of Voluntary Benefits experience
- Experience gathering data from multiple sources and presenting to key relationship stakeholders
- The ability and willingness to travel 20%
- Possess a broad knowledge of Worksite and other value-added services
- The ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner
- Possesses strong partnering skills
- HS Diploma
The Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of and experience with MMFA organization
- Experience working with Salesforce

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 ***Commensurate with experience
