The Workforce Strategy & Operations Analyst is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. They are a key partner in driving results around all sales force labor-related activities of TRR, while helping the teams scale to meet our rapid growth and profitability targets. This person will be the owner of workforce planning, analytics, and execution across the Sales organization, including the task of making recommendations for hiring based on financial plan, taking into account capacity increases and headcount attrition.

They will be able to apply their experience and industry know-how to define, develop and execute against a workforce strategy, own projects from start to end, and will work cross functionally with our sales leadership, business intelligence and other strategic teams. They will focus on innovation and excellence for the workforce planning capability of our rapidly growing business.

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the entire end-to-end Sales process at TRR
  • Own modeling of the sales labor workforce, partnering with the Senior Director, Sales Operations to inform long term labor decisions as well as day to day forecasting for cross-functional teams
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within all forecast/headcount models by developing and performing logical quality assurance functions
  • Identify root-causes to determine and quantify reasons for forecast variance and recommend changes to meet target KPIs
  • Conduct various “what-if” scenarios to assess volume, headcount, performance and cost impact to changes in the business
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure long-term staffing needs are met, while also confirming short-term needs are optimized; make recommendations for hiring based on plan and gaps due to capacity increases, headcount attrition etc.
  • Interact and consult with Recruiting, Strategy & Operations, and Training & Enablement on matters of talent acquisition, training, hiring and attrition
  • Create accurate, timely management level reporting
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations to model variables driving labor headcount and costs
  • Develop and manage efficiency analysis tools to better predict labor needs 
  • Partner with finance and leaders to help inform annual budgets
  • Build and maintain trust with key stakeholders and business partners across a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Become known as the "go to" person for all areas of labor management and capacity planning for our sales teams

What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of Labor management, planning, analytics or equivalent role within online, sales, or tech industry
  • Experience with sales workforce management and planning preferred 
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and experience in financial modeling required, SQL knowledge preferred
  • Ability to present voluminous data in a concise, clear manner and derive actionable business insight
  • Experience developing/improving processes and creating plans to increase efficiency
  • Strong team player; experience working effectively cross-functionally and across different levels of the company
  • Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving and communicating recommendations
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
