Vice President, Global Inside Sales

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team across the global revenue organization here at SailPoint. The team encompasses the Americas, EMEA and APJ SDR (Inside Sales) teams. In all 100+ employees will report to this leader. You will be responsible for driving the global inbound & outbound pipeline generation number. You will have to operate nimbly in a changing marketing technology environment - we are building for scale but with the benefit of an already established, market leading product and brand. Reporting to our President, Worldwide Field Operations, the primary responsibilities of this position will be in the following areas:
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Manage the execution of the overall strategy for obtaining an outbound and inbound pipeline
- Collaborate with marketing, field and inside sales leaders and teams to fill pipeline strategically and predictably with qualified prospects and customers for their territories
- Ensure the Inside Sales KPIs are being hit on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis by conducting regular assessment of progress regarding weekly and monthly forecasts
- Responsible for developing coaching and training framework for the broader Inside Sales organization
- Effectively lead team to exceed their team goals and pipeline
- Maintain team at full headcount and maintain an active pipeline of potential new candidates
- Use key performance metrics to monitor & maintain predictable execution against targets.
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience building and managing successful global Inside Sales (and/or Field Sales) teams within a SaaS/Cloud environment.
- Experience running scalable and reliable systems
- Proven track record in managing both quota carrying and lead generation teams.
- Successfully developed an academy program, cultivating and developing talented salespeople.
- Expertise or experience with SFDC a plus
