Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM offers the most complete Intelligent Automation portfolio, incorporating a host of tools including Process Mining, Business Automation Workflow (BAW/BPM), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to help companies scale their business operations to become more flexible and competitive.

As the Technology Sales Leader, you will support business development and drive solutions to solve client business challenges and generate elated end-users of their systems using IBM's Intelligent Automation platform. You will report to the North America Automation Leader within Automation Practice under Data & Technology Transformation (DTT) and have formal signings targets for both services and software. This is a North America regional role where you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record working in our major markets.

  • Work closely with Technology group to well position future roadmaps, IBM differentiating offering, and pros and cons of competitive solutions
  • Manage client expectations related to the design to reach successful client sign-off
  • Participate in identifying and creating re-usable assets to improve efficiency and consistency of delivery across projects
  • Liaison between the IBM Consulting engagement team and IBM Automation (Software) to promote joint sales motions
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel sales strategy across IBM Consulting combined with IBM Business Automation. Channels include the majoy North America markets/industries
  • Provide specific sales motion and deal making support on a client-by-client basis
  • Create and deliver compelling value propositions primarily to client CXO's
  • Strong communication skills and ability to shape and deliver the sales narrative through the lens of the client are essential
  • Delivery of multiple projects as well as soft skills to balance requirements between multiple organizations of IBM and client
  • Structure work and produce deliverable that align with the scope and budget of projects
  • Communicate the risks and benefits of design/architectural options to an audience with diverse technical backgrounds
  • Create high quality solution playbooks and design documentation
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compenstion range for the position ($105,000 - $201,000) is based on a fulltime schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Process Mining (PM) solutions
  • Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA)
  • Experience with process mining capabilities and technologies (IBM Process Mining or MyInvenio)
  • Experience with Smart Capture capabiities and tools, content ingestion, and platforms
  • Experience with process discovery and mapping

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) or IBM Busines Automation Workflow (BAW)
