Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM's Partner Ecosystem is one of the fastest growing parts of IBM's business and a key focus area for our CEO. Building close links between our IBM Market teams and our Ecosystem Partners is key to the success of this mission.
This role plays an important part in our Ecosystem Growth by owning the Ecosystem budget for the Public and Federal Markets in IBM Americas. The successful applicant will need to understand our Federal and Public Ecosystem quota and pipeline and therefore the gap to making plan. They will be responsible for building and maintaining executive relationships with both IBM Public Market teams and our key Partners operating in Public and Federal accounts. A key part of the role will be maximizing Ecosystem involvement in these deals and also building growth plans to improve our Ecosystem contribution to the Public and Federal Markets.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ Years experience selling in Public Sector and/or Federal accounts
- 5+ years working on deals with IBM Business Partners
- 5+ years of IBM Sofware Sales experience
- Existing Band 10 as this role is expected to engage with senior IBM executives
- Strong Business Development and Planning experience
