THE ROLE

Due to the significant and ongoing growth of our Global Partners Team, we are now looking for a strategic Partner Director to join our team to focus on recruitment and management of technology partnerships, reporting into our Director of Strategic Partnerships.

The Technology Partner Director will be instrumental in taking an award-winning dynamic organisation to the next stage of its growth. This individual will have significant experience of winning and managing profitable technology partnerships.

The primary objective of the role is to identify, create and develop strategic technology partnerships, to deliver significant new business revenue, and support the expansion of Xceptor’s business into vertical markets within and outside of Financial Services.

You will be responsible for forming new, and developing existing, partnerships, acting as an advocate for Xceptor, creating a pipeline of new business opportunities, and driving incremental revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop new strategic technology partnerships; with a focus on helping grow both Financial Services and other target industry business.
  • Define the regional strategy with technology partnerships.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of those partnerships.
  • Work with extended team to manage onboarding, contracts, messaging, go to market plans and ensure the partnerships are setup for success.
  • Drive partner management engagement, with a focus on growing partner-based licence revenue.

SKILLS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience building large global alliances with key technology partners at an executive level.
  • Proven experience in identifying and leading development of integrated solutions that extend the value for Xceptor.
  • Very well versed with the different delivery models.
  • You will be a strong communicator, influencer, and educator of partners, both internally and externally, and across different functions within the organisation.
  • Track record of consistently both achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Familiar with smaller company mentality.
  • Experience of environments where the sales process involves multiple tiers of complex organisations and where the sales cycles are long and consultative.
  • Highly competent in delivering product presentations and managing client workshops and proof of concepts.
  • Strong commercial awareness, industry knowledge and awareness of trends.
  • Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven to succeed and a natural self-starter.
  • Experience in financial services software sales preferred.
