About this opportunity

We are a scaling startup within Ericsson, seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who is passionate about solving customer problems and eager to partner with sales to break into new markets. If this sounds like something you are excited about, we want you on our team!

What you will do
  • Partner in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and demos towards potential clients during the pre-sales process, acting as a subject matter expert in Ericsson's Wireless Office offering, and working closely with sales to both develop sales opportunities and drive them to closure.
  • Lead technical discovery with potential clients, ensuring all customer requirements are understood and documented for proper scoping.
  • Provide consultation to potential customers on technical alternatives that solve business problems.
  • Provide quotes and statement(s) of works based on technical discovery.
  • Support continuous development of the Wireless Office Product by providing insightful business and technical requirements to Product team based on customer interactions.
  • Research and demonstrate industry knowledge and emerging technology trends.
  • Work directly with clients, Sales, Product and Operations teams as needed to ensure a smooth/successful launch.
You will bring
  • 5+ years' experience as a technical sales engineer with a proven track record in virtual desktop sales.
  • Expert technical knowledge relating to virtual desktop products and solutions on premise and in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Technical sales or engineering delivery services towards the Architecture, Engineering and Construction vertical preferred.
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with internal and external customers at all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment of a scaling startup, closely collaborating across Product, Sales, Operations and Marketing to ensure customer success at every step of the pre-sales and post-sales process.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with U.S. based customer (~25% of the time).
