Technical Account Manager

At IAS, the Technical Account Manager is the main resource for all technical partnerships and media partner certifications, both internally and externally. Partnering with the largest companies in the ad tech industry, you will work closely with the IAS Business Development and Solutions Engineering team to manage, foster, and grow our existing business and technical partnerships. You will also be closely connected to the DSP traders to drive value across the industry.
Acting as the main technical point of contact, you will address any internal or external questions and issues that arise from our integration partnerships (including end-users of the platforms) and media partners, or escalate appropriately when necessary. On a daily basis, you should be able to quickly troubleshoot any integration issues, pinpoint the problem, and provide a solution, and escalate to tier 2 support and/or product teams only when necessary. You will also work closely with the Business Development team in recurring Business Reviews with the partners.
Internally, you will also be relied upon heavily by all departments to provide in-depth updates and insights of the partnerships from a technology perspective, working closely with all departments such as Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, Pricing, Technical Support, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering disciplines preferred
- 3+ years working in a technical account/relationship management/client-facing role
- Proficiency in JS, Python, Unix, SQL, HTML, CSS
- Programmatic experience required
- Previous experience with web traffic analysis tools
- Previous experience with integrating or designing APIs and SDKs
- Critical thinking and the ability to think outside of the box is a must
- Previous experience working with 3rd party advertising technology companies preferred
- Previous experience working with publishers and publisher ad servers preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, it's players, and how it all works
- Mobile and Video experience a plus
