Technical Account Manager (TAM)

What you will do

Technical Account Managers (TAM) are responsible for ensuring all customers projects are created, delivered, and supported in a timely manner that optimizes the customer experience. This includes working with the Sales, Subject Matter Expert and Product Manager teams to develop scopes of work, travel to interface with clients to gather specific job requirements, work with internal resources to develop the solutions (Implementation, BI and Dev), present solution to the clients while providing training on the intelliSPEC platform and provide support during projects and after. TAM will be responsible for conducting post mortem meetings with the client, sales and SME's to help increase client retention and to seek out new opportunities.

TAM will be responsible for tracking and managing licensing agreements with clients to ensure invoices are created and sent to finance in a timely manager.

What we expect

We will teach our Technical Account Managers to know and understand our software intelliSPEC well enough to provide technical support and training to customers, both external and internal. The TAM will be able to help customers plan and understand the best ways to utilize intelliSPEC to meet customer business needs and plans. The TAM role is to not be focused on making sales, rather it is to focus on educating their customer on the flexibility and capabilities of IintelliSPEC so customers are encouraged to continue using PK services. The TAM is expected to possess fantastic interpersonal skills and be a strong leader and representing PK in a positive light. The TAM is expected to be highly organized, have good time management skills and be an excellent communicator both orally and in writing.

Travel will vary but will be nominally 30% of the year.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Post-project, continue involvement with the sales and support teams to ensure the solution continues to meet customer expectations



Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
