The Sales team finds top producing real estate agents and teams to educate and promote a truly better way to live and work. Our Partners see us as hiring specialists and partner closely with us to scale their company with the right talent in the right roles. ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As a Team Manager you will report to the Director, Partnership Expansion and will be responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and developing a winning sales team. Your success ties directly to their success. You will be expected to execute sales strategies and generate revenues by growing the associate-agent base within the region. This will include assisting in sales conversations and meetings to get deals over the line. You will ensure full adoption of systems, tools and process by your team so that the organization maintains visibility into key operating metrics. Be evidence based in decision making and work cross-functionally with our Marketing, Onboarding, Product, and Brokerage teams to meet team goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive and fulfill a strategic growth plan for your region
  • Conduct ongoing analysis & sales forecasting
  • Mentor, develop and empower our team of sales professionals to achieve both individual & company objectives
  • Develop and execute a plan for key partner relationships in your markets
  • Partner with Marketing to roll out programs in support of growth and revenue goals
  • Utilizes Salesforce to lead team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing

  • Accomplished in meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • Strong person to person networking, communication and presentation skills to uncover new opportunities
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, loosely structured work environment
  • Strong ability to mentor our hardworking sales reps to higher performance
  • Ability to accurately forecast future sales volumes
  • Ability to establish relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and upper management: Your success depends on their support
  • The ability to prioritize, articulate trade-off and make confident decisions you are willing to stand behind
  • Experience managing strong personalities and quickly resolving unproductive engagement outstanding

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT

  • Experienced: 5+ years managing a (6-8 person) sales team to consistent and successful performance
  • Systems & Tech: Have knowledge, comfort and experience using technology to drive scale and efficiency from your team. A strong appreciation and articulation for how technology is changing the landscape and players of the real estate industry
  • Industry knowledge: Direct experience selling technology or services to highly successful residential real estate agents and/or brokerages
  • Integrity & Ethics: Take pride in doing the right thing by all that you govern and supervise. Short term gain at long term expense is not an option
  • Team & Competition: Losing is off the table. Your track record of success far outweighs failure or lack of success. You have been an athlete at a high level of competition (collegiate or higher)
  • Skilled Communicator: Skilled at communicating and inspiring during the low points of sales, yet understand the nuances of praise and recognition during the high points. Comfortable having hard conversations to achieve your mission. Able to instill a deep sense of confidence in your team
  • Determination & Resolve: Able to diagnose and solve complex problems (Side facing or market facing) on the fly using critical thinking and persuasion. No excuse is an acceptable excuse for your team not finding ways to deliver the message to the prospect
  • Leadership: Experience getting people to follow when they don’t necessarily understand why. People follow you because they trust you, and they believe in you. You realize that the individual and collective goals of your team manifest your goals and determine your success, and are completely comfortable with that reality
