About the role: 

Angi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to build and lead a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function. This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Angi & IAC, and will need to work collaboratively across internal management teams. Reporting to the CMO, this newly formed role will be responsible for building out a small high performing team, and leading all aspects of evaluating and executing high impact partnerships focused on driving significant revenue across Angi’s business units.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead all aspects of evaluation and execution from idea generation, sourcing and negotiating large strategic partnerships across multiple arenas - including e-commerce, marketplaces and digital media
  • Leverage a deep network of contacts of key decision makers, in addition to broad experience in different partnership deal models to close high value partnerships
  • Develop and manage a small high-performing team to generate significant new revenue streams for Angi
  • Lead and coordinate projects across multiple teams within Angi (e.g. product, marketing, finance, legal) to pitch, develop and manage complex and critical strategic partnerships
  • Analyze internal and external data, as well as market and competitive trends to inform and execute on a strategic partnership roadmap

Who you are:

  • Proven track record and experience in leading and executing impactful and complex revenue-driving partnerships in the digital arena
  • 15 years of strategic partnership and business development experience in the consumer internet space
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in research and analysis in heavily transactional situations
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter capable of working independently
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience leading and working effectively as part of a small team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and driven by a new challenge

 Compensation & Benefits:  

  • The salary band for this position ranges commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors, such as cost of living
