The ideal candidate will have built and led successful sales teams in the past. This executive can perform him or herself and manage long sales cycles to close, multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts with enterprise accounts. This leader can jump in when needed and is an efficient and reliable professional who is effective at presenting to, communicating with, and gaining the trust of senior leadership within major enterprise accounts. This position will report directly to the CRO of the company and have a seat at the table regarding all strategic deals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement long-term sales plans, including strategies, goals, quotas, and tracking mechanisms for large Enterprise and Franchise customers
  • Build and manage a world-class sales team including team structure, hiring, performance assessment, coaching, and training
  • Jump in and negotiate and close key enterprise agreements with an executive from the customer
  • Develop and hone sourcing strategies and tactics across the restaurant ecosystem
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting metrics
  • Manage our Business Development efforts including key strategic relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing leadership to improve execution
  • Identify, recruit and enable new business development partners, resulting in incremental pipeline 
  • Drive the conversion of pilots into rollout agreements with the enterprise

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience selling multi-million dollar deals into enterprise accounts
  • Minimum 6 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams
  • SaaS-specific sales experience preferred with an understanding of newer technologies like Voice AI 
  • Consistent history of his or her team achieving and exceeding sales goals 
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in an understandable way
  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Entrepreneurial experience is a huge plus
  • Restaurant and/or Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Relationships in the restaurant industry are helpful but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, including coordinating with all levels of management and staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
