We are looking for a Strategy Director to join the Flexe team to own the strategic planning process for the Company. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical, communication and technical skills, as well as logistics industry experience. Candidates should possess a natural curiosity for how the industry and business operates, and will work to define the strategic and business objectives to ensure we meet our goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Own and evolve the strategic planning process for the Company.
• Manage the strategic positioning framework of the Company including identifying secular trends and competitive assessments.
• Orchestrate cross-functional partnership across all departments to align on short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
• Drive the definition of annual goals and the business strategy to achieve the plan.
• Work with the Product team to align the business and product strategies and new feature prioritization.
• Facilitate the quarterly OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process and ensure the correct ownership, alignment and resources to achieve the goals.
• Identify and support the creation of the key metrics to measure business performance to the strategic objectives.
• Perform ad hoc business and analysis as required.
• This role is a senior individual contributor with leadership of a team to follow on as needed.
• This role reports to the head of finance, strategy and analytics and will frequently partner with the executive team and Board.

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience with 4+ years in strategy, strategic planning or strategy/management consulting is required.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or transportation is required.
• MBA or equivalent work experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent is desired.
• Highly analytical and proven ability to solve problems independently.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and wide area of dynamic responsibilities.
• Ability to partner across all areas of the business and drive win/win solutions.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complicated models/processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US. We will not be sponsoring visas for this role at this time.
