The Opportunity

The Strategic Solutions Executive role will develop and manage Cassling/Siemens relationships with key Strategic Clients to include IDN's, GPO's and regional purchasing networks and health systems in the three Cassling territories (Midwest, South and West). This position has a direct impact on the delivery of quality customer service, and will be assigned a performance quota based on the capital equipment and solutions sales expectations of the organization from year to year. The Strategic Solutions Executive is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President of Sales. This position will work collaboratively across the sales organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some sales aptitude and a solid understanding of healthcare operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow successful partnerships and relationships with our customers by traveling to customer sites and assisting local sales teams to identify opportunities for growth in our assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with key Strategic Corporate Accounts at the executive level to provide value through unique opportunities, standardization or other areas of value to the customer.
  • Work with Siemens Strategic Account Team, Enterprise Services Team and Cassling business leaders and account executives on behalf of customers to grow compliance and involvement with other Siemens divisions.
  • Lead the development and execution of customer-specific short and long-term strategic and business objectives, through leadership of cross Business Unit sales and support teams
  • Develop, implement and track a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve revenue goals and expand the Cassling/Siemens portfolio
  • Align our solutions to our partner's long-term vision and strategies.
  • Interact with employees, customers and vendors as part of a team to assist with and facilitate the delivery of quality service. Help create a work environment conducive to solving problems as an integral part of all Cassling business functions.
  • Develop trust with every contact through leadership, ethical practices, and objective business relationships. Maintain the best interests of Cassling and its customers.
  • Commit to flexibility to travel, often spending multiple consecutive days and nights away from home.
  • Attend sales and training meetings with sales and service personnel.
  • Attend appropriate local, state, and national seminars, sales meetings, trade shows, and conventions.
  • Provide the following information to hospitals upon request: immunization records, drug screening, background check, training records.
  • Remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace policy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Computer literacy, including spreadsheet, presentation and word processing skills.
  • Sales, procurement and relationship building expertise.
  • Functional knowledge of the healthcare provider space and clinical operations of imaging departments.
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills targeted at the hospital executive level.
  • Able to use a personal computer and associated peripherals.
  • Team player accustomed to orchestrating multiple groups and multiple tasks.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Education & Experience
  • Education: Four-year college degree or appropriate experience.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in procuring capital medical equipment and leading cross-functional teams, including a working understanding of health care provider organizations. Must have experience in earning and developing trust in business relationships. Executive level leadership experience in the healthcare provider space is a plus.
