Job Description:
We are creating a Strategic Renewal Manager to partner with the Strategic Account Executive Team in North America. This role is responsible for the renewals with our largest customers. With identified accounts, the incumbent will ensure revenue renewal, customer success and long term partnership with assigned customers.

What you'll own:

  • Solidify and close renewals - Complete proactive renewal management including all administrative tasks such as obtaining Purchase Orders when required, forecasting, quoting, agreement negotiations, and order creation and submission. Using skills to close all assigned opportunities, identify upsell opportunities. Collaborate with Revenue and Customer Success counterparts to identify and mitigate risk within your customer base.
  • Providing recommendations based on customers' business needs and usage patterns
  • Having an active curiosity about growing customer value and happiness and deepening customer relationships
  • You are able to think in scenarios and multiple steps ahead and observe and mitigate risks early
  • You can think about deals creatively, working effectively with Deal Desk and Finance
  • Able to review and recommend contract Terms, MSAs
  • Experienced relationship builder with procurement


Experience you'll need:

  • Fantastic depth of experience with 7-10 years of SaaS renewal experience or similar field (sales, customer success, account management); ideally across companies with 10,000+ employees
  • Experience negotiating renewals over $500k+ in ARR
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with Gainsight and Salesforce.com preferred
  • You're an authority on Solution-Selling, Customer-centric Selling, Strategic Selling, the Challenger sale, Business Impact Selling and/or Value Selling
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation and interpersonal skills both with customers and within Pluralsight
  • Validated strategic negotiation and closing skills with a successful track record of navigating with all stakeholders within large complex organizations and at Pluralsight
  • Inevitably you'll be on the road post COVID; travel possibly up to 50% is a requirement
