Checkr is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager, Emerging Segment to join our Business Development team!  As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will focus on onboarding and cultivating our fastest growing segment of partners. To be successful in this role, you will need to develop and own a broad, partner self-serve strategy to drive new user growth and revenue at scale. 

Additionally, you will drive special projects across Product, Sales, Marketing, BD, and Customer Success functions to accelerate revenue growth and build sustainable processes. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, an ability to work outside your comfort zone, and a desire to build something great. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate in a one to many capacity, implementing broad and scalable tactics to inflect growth amongst our emerging partners. Identify and cultivate high value partners, raising their prominence within the organization.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to accelerate the onboarding and growth of new and existing ecosystem partners at scale.
  • Track health and performance of the partners in your portfolio. Nurture the most promising partners who will drive the most impact for the business
  • Execute business initiatives and monitor key performance indicators. Pivot partnership/engagement model as necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Product to develop partner agnostic programs to implement across several tiers of partners 
  • Implement new workflows and technology solutions within the BD team and with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of proven successful experience in business development, customer success, finance or related experience. 5+ years of total work experience 
  • Resourcefulness, creativity and grit to find different ways to achieve results
  • Strong general business acumen. Experience with data analysis and building presentation decks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Detail oriented and highly skilled in project management amid complex situations
  • High energy level to match Checkr’s fast paced, start-up environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn technical integration requirements and API’s.
  • BS, BA Degree or equivalent work experience

*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $94,520-$111,200.
