Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience negotiating media agreements.
  • Experience working with teams within a digital content and/or technology organization.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships in the digital content industry.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in digital distribution, initiating and developing new business opportunities in the media and/or digital space.
  • Experience with basic modeling. Ability to be comfortable with analytics, and formal corporate presentation building skills.
  • Experience developing innovative, non-standard agreement structures while working cross-functionally to build executive and general stakeholder consensus.
  • Experience in online entertainment or new media building innovative digital content business models.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong professional relationship-building skills.

The Stadia Business Development team works with video game publishers and developers to bring their entertainment experiences to the cloud. The Stadia platform allows game makers to reach new, expanded audiences through frictionless gameplay across all supported devices. By enabling gamers to play premium titles through their browser or on their personal devices, Stadia developers and publishers are able to reach new folks and expands their business.

In this role, you'll work directly with content developers and publishers to advocate for the platform, develop innovative agreement structures, and help push the game industry forward through the growth area of cloud gameplay.

We are working on custom built hardware and rapidly evolving open source technology to deliver a seamless gaming experience across multiple devices. Stadia provides players new ways to discover, engage, and connect with content with no download required thanks to our cutting-edge data centers. Responsibilities

  • Negotiate high value, highly strategic, complex agreements with sophisticated game developers, publishers, and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain strong direct relationships with game publishers and platforms and create the highest value for both parties via unique, innovative agreement arrangements.
  • Work to identify new partners and business opportunities. Define, model, execute, and analyze key enterprise agreements and partner performance metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally to engage Partner Management, Technical Account Management, Marketing, Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to drive business execution forward.
  • Work with other Google product areas to identify and design strategic win-wins for common partners, and collaborate with these Googlers to negotiate cross-Google agreements.
