Job Brief:

As a Strategic Business Development Executive on the Strategic Accounts team, you'll be partnering with senior executives at the world's largest software vendors, to establish lead-generation programs which meaningfully drive growth of their business.

The successful associate will play a key role in driving revenue within the high-growth Strategic Accounts team. You'll be responsible for building a pipeline, educating senior executives on Gartner Digital Markets' solutions, and closing opportunities to overachieve revenue quota.

What You Will do:

  • Identify the highest-leverage opportunities for Pay-Per-Click and Pay-Per-Lead campaigns within your territory of large, global software vendors
  • Utilize black-belt discovery skills to understand business objectives, mission critical priorities and key initiatives
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within software vendor marketing and sales teams
  • Evaluate a prospective customer's strengths, provide insights for areas where they can improve, and build trust-based value-added relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams and colleagues to ensure successful onboarding and campaign performance
  • Master and consistently execute internal sales methodology, and demonstrate sales leadership through coaching and mentoring

What will need:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5+ years of proven consultative sales experience in technology (services or software)
  • Proven, consistent success in your current and prior roles
  • Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
  • Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement. Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
  • Must be comfortable selling to, challenging and building trust-based, value-added relationships
  • Professionally persistent while prospecting and managing senior-level relationships within large global enterprises
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic vision into their business
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
