Then our open position as Strategic Account Manager Benelux could be a match for you!

We are looking for a motivated and highly driven new member to join our fast paced, growing team in the Avery Dennison Global Commercial Europe Team (https://rbis.averydennison.com/en/home.html) to grow our business in the Apparel Retail segment. Are you ready for this meaningful role in a very fast, highly competitive growing business and within a high performing sales team?

In this position you work independently and you can either work from our office in Ghent, work from home or travel to our customers mostly within Belgium. 

We want to win new business and expand our current customer and partner ecosystem - with you as Strategic Account Manager in Benelux. 

How your role would look like:

  • Growing and developing sales by winning new business and expanding our customer and partner base in Benelux

  • Driving the strategy for your accounts as well as develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals in conjunction with other functions within Avery Dennison and the team

  • Results oriented selling across the Avery Dennison RBIS product portfolio

  • Providing exceptional customer experience for business partners and prospects to develop long-term business opportunities

  • Being creative in approaching new customers

  • Building and strengthening relationships with our existing customer base and the colleagues across EMEA

  • Responsible for achieving sales and margin targets within Benelux accounts

  • Developing a sound understanding of the competitive landscape assessing continuously for trends and opportunities

  • Using CRM and other tools to effectively analyze your sales activities and customer base as well as creating regular sales forecasts and performing an efficient pipeline management

Qualifications

What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:

  • You love being a sales professional and providing excellent customer service is always a given for you

  • You have 5+ years experience in sales driving strategic accounts, ideally in an international business and matrix organization within the Retail industry

  • You have shown your ability to manage complex projects in the past, considering not only the customer requirements, but also internal partnerships (e.g. Business Development, Product Management, Customer Service, Quality, Credit/Finance, Supply Chain & Operations, etc.), to deliver a successful result

  • You are skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies for your assigned accounts

  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills in English both spoken and written, Dutch and/or French is a plus

  • You are a solution oriented self-starter with a hands-on mentality

  • entrepreneurial thinking comes natural to you

  • You are able to handle a number of key tasks at the same time and prioritize your work on your own

  • You have an energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic work approach combined with strong self management to meet deadlines and to do what it takes to get the job done

  • You have a strong cultural empathy and are a team-player with a relationship-building attitude to operate in a complex multinational organization

  • You have a valid driving license
