Sr. Specialist, Category & Client Development - Ad Sales

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Specialist, Category and Client Development (SS-CCD) supports sales in the development and execution of integrated strategies and solutions. This position will support key client and category development at a Market and Divisional level. By cultivating relationships with sales and cross-functional team members, the SS-CCD will help support business, category, and client needs.
The SS-CCD is responsible for contributing to a dedicated category-focused team in our fast-paced, evolving media sales environment. He or she will work and collaborate with other team members actively supporting designated Categories and Key clients. The SS-CCD must be committed to staying ahead of marketing and advertising trends, including advanced advertising. The SS-CCD will learn how to manage communications across multiple audiences and communicate clearly and effectively.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate for this position will support the following team priorities:
- Help develop successful strategies and solutions
- Support efforts around infusing storytelling expertise within Client-facing deliverables
- Contribute to efforts by cross-functional teams that support effective sharing and scaling client category work
- Contribute to efforts to productize key verticals
- Support multiscreen Client engagement
- Participate in efforts that promote sharing skillsets and best practices
Category and Client Board of Directors
Serves as a team member to help develop and inform:
- Marketing and media strategy supporting focus categories
- Category, media and competitive research needs
- Solution development for Clients
- Campaign analysis and optimization needs
Storytelling Expertise
Contributes work that supports:
- Interpretation of data and information delivered to sales and other leadership.
- Collaboration with cross-functional departments (marketing, MR&I, etc.) to gather data
- Sharing how solutions are developed for key Clients so that that will propel growth across priority categories.
Share and Scale Solutions
- Help identify category-specific solutions developed across the Enterprise and support sharing of successful "recipes."
- Emphasize multiscreen solutions
Sharing Skillsets
Identify opportunities to share skillsets with entire Client Success Team:
- Identify and support opportunities to share skills across entire Client Success team (cross-training new skills)
- Participate in team meetings with peers /other Client Success Team leaders to identify and solve for knowledge gaps and opportunities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of strong brand, product, integrated marketing, and/or advertising sales marketing experience.
- Experience with Travel, Restaurants, Financial Services, Legal, Education, and/or Retail categories is desirable.
- Knowledge of multiscreen and advanced advertising products.
- Experience developing and executing successful integrated marketing programs.
- Proven track record of helping Sales executives grow revenue.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with overarching skill to translate data, information and research into powerful points of view-ability to craft and tell a compelling story.
- Experience and strong knowledge of research databases, tools and applications, including (but not limited to) Nielsen, Scarborough, MRI, Kantar, BIA/Kelsey, eMarketer and comScore
- Familiarity with and experience in advanced advertising; understanding of online campaign development, metrics and optimization strategies.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is preferred.

The pay for this position has a minimum of $65,300.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
