Sr. Software Sales Executive - InsureTech
WTW is currently looking for a Technology Sales Executive. The successful person will promote and sell new accounts, materially consistent with our ideal client criteria including potential for over $500K revenue from product and consulting services. You will be promoting product and service set (to be modified over time): (P&C, Life, Services including Implementation, migration, conversion, and training). To identify and sell new major accounts. To gain share and cross sell within existing assigned accounts
Responsibilities:
- To expand market coverage through new sales
- Plan territory /account strategy
- Promote, sell, and provide account management services to new prospects including:
- Sales pursuit campaigns
- Playing a key role in executive level demo and capabilities presentations
- Proposal generation (with Sales Ops)
- Lead, prepare and brief the extended Sales / Account Team (includes engagement and technical support team as assigned) leveraging ICT's sales processes, resources and best practices to close business
- Establish and maintain assigned or newly formed client relationships
- Regularly visit with clients to conduct needs/problem assessment (in conjunction with Client Success Managers and extended Account Team)
- Manage client expectations and satisfaction
- Conduct negotiations
- Qualify new opportunities and prospects, dimension the size of opportunities and articulate probabilities of closure
- Develop industry, markets, product, competitive, applications knowledge and provide assessment of future trends and maintain sensitivity to client needs/problems and situations
- Keeping executive leadership informed and included as necessary
- Update CRM (CIS) to ensure information is captured and available for others within the organization
- Structure and negotiate deal terms and participate in the contracting process

Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years consultative sales experience in the sale of sophisticated products and services
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to function autonomously
- Ability to administer consulting services client activities
- Background in consultative sales (in IT and consulting industry is desirable)
- Product Knowledge - Thorough knowledge and understanding of service/product offerings, including typical implementation configuration, benefits and suitability to various client types (provides the ability to create interest in the face of common objections)
- Business Knowledge -Broad knowledge regarding business operations, functions and tools; understanding of current business trends and concepts of creating client value
- Creating Client Value -Strong client service orientation, understanding the concepts of consulting and solution building
- Industry/Market Awareness - Awareness of market characteristics and response patterns
- Competitive Information - Current and objective information on competitive offerings, practices, pricing, strengths and weaknesses
- Sales knowledge/skills - Thorough knowledge and the skill to apply strategic sales methodology
