Job Purpose
The Sales Support Specialist services the Business Consultants of the organization through incoming phone calls, FDIS, and Live Agent chat requests for issue resolution. Ensures timely follow-up and escalation of client issues to minimize disruption to service and overall impact to First Data clients. We are a diverse, collaborative working group that depends on the multi-skill development of team members. We work closely with the Sales organization to attain the best possible outcomes for potential and new merchants. Must remain current on company implementations and changes. Must possess a detailed knowledge of policies and procedures with a broad understanding of the client operation. May help build and maintain knowledge sources. Act as liaison between Business Consultants, clients and internal departments to communicate, research, and investigate issues.
Job Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent required, 2 year degree or equivalent preferred, 3+ years Customer Service experience, knowledge of industry standards preferred, or equivalent military experience. Experience with PC's; strong verbal, written and organizational skills. Knowledge of the following systems a plus: MSA, FDPOS, Merchant Manager, Merchant Balance Manager, FDIS, Merchant Service Center, First Data Marketplace, Salesforce
