Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for providing business partnership for AMR Sales Leadership, Finance and Analytics to support execution of commercial business operations and achievement of sales objectives. Effective communication, training and development of new system functionality, improved commercial business process and utilization of third-party sales resources to ensure efficient and effective user experience throughout the Lead to Order Fulfillment commercial workflow. Support insights driven decision making by driving adoption of analytical resources into sales users' daily operations. Works closely with AMR Comm Ops counterparts on activities required to administrate a successful Sales Process.

The ideal candidate will be able to successfully navigate and execute on the team's strategic vision in key areas of support including, pipeline management, forecasting, territory/account management, sales rep productivity, utilization of commercial technology, quota generation, and ability to improve and drive efficiencies through commercial process. The Sr Sales Strategy Analyst will need to be comfortable in approaching and partnering with key stakeholders from several different functions at multiple levels of the organization.

  • Build relationships and act as a business partner to AMR Sales Leadership, Finance, and Analytics.
  • Contributes to developing business understanding and strategy around sales forecasting, budgetary process, quota setting, territory design and sales process optimization.
  • Proactively identify and develop or improve key processes to support integrity of commercial data required for business analysis.
  • Advise business partners on how to best leverage reporting to drive actionable insights.
  • Works with Sales leaders to generate Quota to drive desired sales activity and performance.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to define optimal performance measurements and build reporting to track these priorities.
  • Prepare advanced analyses to help identify and communicate trends and drivers to the business.
  • Helps coordinate and lead analysis to track sales team resourcing/sizing - makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • Participates in regional/global projects relating to process improvement and/or system implementation and seen as subject matter expert.
  • Supports content creation/development for internal Sales Operations site.
  • Represents AMR Sales Operations on cross functional activities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Partner with internal resources to manage suite of Prospecting Tools to support top of funnel sales activity.
  • Drive adoption of new commercial resources through end user education, training and on-boarding.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Successful track record in Commercial Operations, FP&A, or a related commercial support role preferred.
  • 5+ years successful track record in sales, sales or marketing operations, or a related commercial support role preferred.
  • Background supporting various business partners with a focus on analytics and/or operational excellence.
  • Effectively and concisely communicates complex topics with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-guided in identification, prioritization and execution of deliverables and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills
  • Possess an open, flexible, and positive can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner with competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to innovate and improve on current state.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook and possess an innate ability to navigate through new software applications. Experience with SAP, Tableau, Cognos BI and a plus


MBA or bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Business or Technical field preferred. Life sciences degree a plus.
