Senior Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to articulate the technological aspects and value propositions of our banking software solutions to prospective clients. The Sr. Sales Engineer will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process, working closely with our team of sales executives. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of product demonstrations which will be conducted both virtually and at client sites. This role will report to the Director, Sales Engineering. This position will be remote or office based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.
What You'll Do:
- Understand the prospect's business environment and communicate our value proposition
- Conduct technical product demonstrations via GoToMeeting or face-to-face meetings with clients
- Maintain subject-matter expertise in banking and regulatory practice in order to build credibility with and better serve our clients
- Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed and recommending options and best courses of action
- Act as the "voice of the field" providing market based product development feedback to the Product Management Team
- Enable various client/market facing teams including Sales, CSM, Marketing, Implementation, and Product Management
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer, or market facing role in implementation or product management
- Experience working for a software company; Fintech experience is a plus
- Proficiency in software configuration
- Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills
- Ability to quickly build credibility with an executive-level audience
- Superior time management and organization skills
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
