A Lot About You
The Manager, Industry Engagement Marketing- Global Premium Supply & Ads Business Development is responsible for building out marketing strategies and programs with industry associations (i.e., IAB, AdExchanger, MMA) in order to deliver business results to drive awareness, consideration and lead generation for global publisher supply and ads business development partners.
The right person for this role should be highly strategic, creative, collaborative, and passionate about finding innovative new partnerships. This leader cultivates long-term relationships with partner contacts to extend the Yahoo for Business brand beyond our current channels and ecosystem. A strong communicator (both in writing and in presenting), with an attention to details, use of metrics to prove what's working and the ability to rally people around an idea will be critical.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead on market positioning of Yahoo for Business products as a must-buy for publishers, and partners through end-to-end experiential marketing strategies and executions
  • Develop scaled and coordinated marketing plans and activations, inclusive of industry tentpole, sponsorship, and proprietary programs
  • Amplify Yahoo's unique voice and value proposition by raising key business leaders executives profiles through thought leadership and speaking events -- this person will be responsible for identifying speaking opportunities, developing presentation content, prepping speakers, and digital marketing extensions
  • Run strategic planning and execution of annual marketing plan, including developing a calendar of marketing experiences in line with overall business strategy that takes into consideration a 360-degree approach for target audiences
  • Assist in development of marketing activation plan, including but not limited to: internal emails and other communications; digital marketing extensions (social, email); and executive talking points and speaker briefs.
  • Effectively partner with cross-functional teams including but not limited PR, product marketing, campaign management, digital operations and sales to understand and execute against key business goals and overall project success
  • Define fewer, bigger, better industry and customer initiatives to drive strong industry "share of voice", growing market awareness, consideration, affinity, loyalty, and trust for Yahoo
  • Develop communication strategies that advise and update executives and partners on marketing strategies and campaigns, program performance, plans, and progress towards metrics.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and ROI to better optimize marketing plans and budgets year-over-year


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated success in B2B, sales trade, product marketing, and/or event planning in the tech industry.
  • Deep understanding of media and technology
  • Leadership in leading large scale cross-functional teams and projects, ability to lead end-to-end marketing programs, and delivering ROI across a diverse slate of industry and customer experiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and tried project management skills and experience, leading cross-functional teams and projects simultaneously
  • A hardworking self-starter with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent and fast paced projects
  • Creative problem solver and passionate marketer that can help bring people together
  • Strength in working collaboratively and cross-functionally to produce great work

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $66,375.00 - $110,625.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, retirement, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
