We are looking for a Senior Manager of Velocity Sales Operations who can provide strategic consultation and expertise to our Velocity Sales organization for growth and development. The role is to support the High Velocity Sales Leadership team through Go-To-Market planning, sales process development & optimization, CRM system & implementation, and driving operational initiatives to increase sales productivity and efficiency. This is a rare opportunity to build a new go-to-market operations function from the ground up.

Responsibilites

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and sales operations lead to the High Velocity Sales Team and Sales Leadership
  • Develop, track and manage the forecast process, performance analysis, metrics/KPIs to drive forecast accuracy
  • Drive sales analytics data gathering, reporting, and improvements, including funnel and pipeline metrics on a weekly cadence to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales productivity and improve operational efficiency across the Velocity Sales organization
  • Implement best-practices and standardization of sales processes, keeping repeatability and scalability top of mind
  • Design, document and implement specific initiatives to improve data hygiene and security, improve sales team throughput and efficiency
  • Ensure High Velocity Sales team is aligned with overall company objectives and priorities
  • Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics
  • Define programs and processes that promote landing new business, up-sell and cross-sell in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success 
  • Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g. BizOps, Marketing, CS, Product etc.) to execute on strategic initiatives (e.g. sales capacity planning, territory planning and management, comp plan design, quota setting, etc.) 
  • Support Velocity Sales team with planning and operational requests e.g. annual planning, monthly and quarterly business reviews, target setting, sales coverage, territory assignment, headcount planning etc.
  • Monitor & optimize lead flow by working in sync with cross functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven track record of 3-5 years as a successful Sales or Field Operator; preferably in a high-growth software company 
  • Proven track record of 1-2 years supporting a Product Led Growth (PLG) motion; preferably aligned to an Inside Sales or High Velocity Sales Team
  • Strong understanding of the E2E funnel across the entire lead & qualification process
  • Strong collaborator; experience working with multiple go-to-market teams cross-functionally 
  • Experience providing operational expertise and support to Sales Leadership and/or other relevant stakeholders 
  • Highly process and data-driven and able to present information in an engaging and convincing manner to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to change altitudes (tactical, operational and strategic work)
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Strong analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Excel, and prior experience with Tableau or SQL.
  • Well-versed leveraging Salesforce
  • Limitless energy to enthusiastically tackle and achieve significant growth goals and objectives in this growing market
  • Experience within a SaaS company, startup environment, or similar rapidly growing enterprise strongly preferred
