The Role 


We are looking for a Sr Deal Desk Manager to support our full go-to-market organization. You will be an important leader within the Finance organization and will play a pivotal role in the improvement and transformation of our deal desk function. You will develop and manage the future roadmap of our deal desk function and enable the team to scale as we continue to expand our global sales organization. 


The ideal candidate will be able to help design, implement and manage processes, influence deal structuring, pricing, contract management, work effectively with sales, and most importantly build a successful deal desk function. As a self-motivated problem solver, experience in building teams and implementing business processes is required.


Location: This could be a remote position within the US. #LI-Remote

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Partnering and building relationships with Leadership in the Sales organizations
  • Provide guidance on complex deal structures in a way that maximizes ARR and customer satisfaction, and manages risk for specialized issues to appropriate business partners for approval to ensure resolution
  • Serve as the main catalyst for driving process improvement and building process to help Outreach effectively move up-market
  • Managing our Deal Desk team - assisting in all aspects of deal approvals, configurations/structure, pricing, and order form drafting
  • Work cross-functionally and provide strategic guidance to the Sales and Revenue Operations teams and assist in streamlining cross-functional workflows
  • Help document and maintain our standard operating process and non-standard deal approval guidelines
  • Assist our enablement function in delivering guidance on deal desk activities, processes, and programs

Our Vision Of You

  • 5-10 years relevant Deal Desk experience in a SaaS software company
  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Sr. Leadership
  • Proven experience building successful teams and scaling a deal desk organization
  • Understanding of enablement technologies, processes, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and improvement initiatives
  • Ability to drive structure in ambiguity
  • Highly Curious
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
