YOUR MISSION

Our belief is simple: making customers better, makes better customers. As Account Management Team Lead you will grow our business by applying a human-centered approach to managing a team of Account Managers in a hyper growth environment. Account Managers play an integral role in our business, building strong working relationships with each and every client and driving annual renewals and upsells. You will also be a founding member of the Account Management team within the Customer Success division; a career defining and unique opportunity to build.

You’re responsible for creating an exceptional experience with responsibility for the following duties:  

  • Manage a team of Account Managers responsible for orchestrating customer retention and growth
  • Develop best practices and process strategies to help the Account Management team scale 
  • Accurately forecast expansion revenue and coach team to quota achievement
  • Build a scalable process for Account Managers to identify customer needs and execute playbooks that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Drive adoption programs to ensure client is able to fully leverage MURAL to meet their transformation needs and hitting success milestones
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Sales) to prioritize a cohesive and innovative customer experience 
  • Elicit client feedback to act as internal advocate for our customers with MURAL’s product teams
  • Phenomenal people management skills, sales and account management acumen, and organized project management
  • Actively work to make your team successful at MURAL and progress their career goals

YOUR PROFILE

As a MURAL Account Management Team Lead you motivate and inspire innovation across a team of Account Managers. You will develop systems and engagement point playbooks to turn our current customer base into MURAL fanatics by showing how easy and fun it is to collaborate in MURAL. You will successfully manage and achieve retention, renewal and up-sell KPIs as a natural extension of the valuable business outcomes orchestrated with and communicated to our customers. 

We are obsessed with creating a world-class customer experience and looking for candidates who share our fiercely customer-centric mindset.  

Our desired candidate will have:

  • Experience managing teams of Customer Success Manager and/or Account Managers.
  • 5+ years in an Account Management or Customer Success function including ownership of retention, renewal and up-sell KPIs
  • Have a nose for revenue and enjoy the rush of accomplishment when customers find value in MURAL enough to sign on for another year of transformation
  • An intrinsic love of learning and demonstrating best practices of new technology 
  • Gain fulfillment from helping others by means of public speaking and training 
  • A highly responsive, outgoing, energetic representative of MURAL  
  • Track record of making your team successful and facilitating their individual skill development 
  • Systems thinker who loves to continuously improve the teams SOPs and operational efficiency
  • Ability to manage and interpret customer behavior/data to create valuable business outcomes 
  • A passion to help customers succeed and empathize with them
  • An undying concern about new, better ways to solve problems
  • A willingness to work independently in the office or from remote locations
