As our Sr. Account Executive, you will…

Oversee day-to-day account management processes related to website development and marketing technology clients; examples include strong understanding of website development, UX design, analytics, SEO/SEM and related activities. You will drive interactions between the account and development teams and clients, actively nurturing strong relationships with MERGE’s clients. This role centers around hands-on experience by delivering engaging, passionate outstanding ideas and work. You will work closely with others on the account team and counterparts in technology operations departments to drive projects through the agency and meet delivery requirements/deadlines. This position involves consistent and ongoing client contact.

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Develop/maintain client relationships by having frequent and consistent contact with members of the client team
  • Deliver high-quality, responsive client service
  • Focus primarily on clients in the healthcare space, although opportunities in other verticals may arise
  • Facilitate the overall needs of your accounts
  • Learn to rely on experience to identify business challenges and solutions for clients and the agency
  • Engage senior staff from Client Service and other departments as project objectives or issues warrant
  • Manage accounts, client relationships and communications; ensuring deadlines, budgets and service agreements are met consistently
  • Lead and actively participate in internal and client meetings with confidence, representing the agency or client as required
  • Participate in the business development process by supporting with pitch research,  preparation, presentation as needed. 


These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5 years of Client Service experience in the marketing technology, website development and digital marketing; agency experience highly preferred
  • Experience with various CMS, such as SiteCore, Sitefinity, WordPress, etc, and Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics and/or similar
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves in a highly collaborative environment, working cross-departmentally and building those relationships
  • Strong client management skills, especially as it relates to setting and managing client expectations
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to client, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability
