Overview
The Sr Account Executive, Non-Delegated Sales, is responsible for representing PennyMac in an external sales capacity to Non-Delegated division, including sales and non-credit operation. The incumbent is the key contact for customer prospecting and relationship management. They also represent PennyMac to other portions of the mortgage industry, including MI companies, warehouse lenders, etc.
Job Description

  • Source new business in assigned territory through daily/weekly/monthly contact with existing customers and prospects via face-to-face meetings, telephone and e-mail communication.
  • Market PennyMac as a firm and its products to potential customers who fit the PNMAC Eligibility criteria, perform on-site visits as required, screen applications and assist Credit/Client Administration as necessary during the customer approval process.
  • Act as primary contact to match customer needs to PNMAC products, programs and services. Sell the benefits of PNMAC and train customers on how to sell and originate PNMAC programs and products.
  • Meet or exceed loan volume/revenue and quality goals as established by the Production Manager.
  • Manage the day to day business needs of the division, including management and growth of the sales representatives (dotted line reporting)
  • Develop, monitor and manage Non-Delegated business drivers, metrics and models
  • Perform market research to understand customer needs and competitor information on various matters that impact PNMAC's ability to deliver consistent and competitive products, pricing and services. Contribute recommendations based on knowledge and expertise to enhance PNMAC's performance.
  • Identify, develop and maintain strong partnerships with top tier client base to increase market and wallet share
  • The Sr Account Executive is responsible for the operational management of client relationships, providing quality service by maintaining client accounts (pipeline management), including managing aged loans, leading regular client calls, and following up on escalations as needed.
  • Manage, develop/improve, review and deliver periodic management reporting as required (weekly, monthly, etc)
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 4 Year college degree (Bachelor) or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including ability to effective communicate with external customers and internal staff
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignment to completion within standard, accepted practices
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Google Suite and internet search sites
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
