Joining Collibra's Data Office Team:

Collibra is looking for a Solutions Architect for our internal implementation of the Collibra Data Intelligence Center platform to enable our business to find, understand, and trust our enterprise data. This role will report to the Senior Data Intelligence Manager and will be an integral part in helping Collibra’s rapid growth and our thought leading position in data intelligence.

Solutions Architects at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Managing, configuring, monitoring the internal instances of the Collibra platform directly.
  • Creating data governance operating models, including assets, relationships, domains and communities keeping efficiency, understandability and usability atop.
  • Establishing integrations with core systems and driving automation
  • Incorporating data quality standards and practices into the data ecosystem to foster thorough trust in data.
  • Creating and maintaining workflows to facilitate governance processes

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5+ years experience in Consulting, Data Management or similar Solution Architect role
  • Direct experience with implementing, managing, and/or using the Collibra platform, as well as Collibra University certification such as Solution Architect and/or Integration Engineer

You Are:

  • Passionate about driving end user adoption through comprehensive yet simple operating models, you gladly initiate, embrace and drive change.
  • Knowledgeable about data management processes (data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, data warehousing, ETL, data integration, business rules management, etc.)
  • Adept at workflow, security and integration requirements
  • Eager to learn and utilize new technologies and tools, like to solve problems and investigate technical issues
  • At ease to synchronize with a lot of people and always think as a team

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will familiarize yourself with the existing data intelligence platform and data products by diving into the architecture, existing data sets, as well as the owners and stakeholders of each. 
  • Within your third month, you will identify, plan and execute improvements to the existing data platform, assist in implementing standards and best practices for data products and pipelines
  • Within your sixth month, you will be popular with data teams and business stakeholders across the company as they benefit from the data platform, products and services facilitated by the data office. Solicit additional use cases, guide and support the implementation of the same in DG.
