The Challenge
Qualtrics is in the business of helping organizations manage experiences. Patient experiences have a lasting impact on health outcomes, caregivers, and a system's financial performance. However, many of the world's organizations have followed a very outdated approach to understanding their patients.
As the healthcare landscape shifts, these outdated approaches are not delivering the insights required to truly impart change in the way of patient care. These organizations are looking for a new way to not just monitor, but understand and improve the experiences they deliver. Qualtrics has provided a new approach built on a foundation of world-class technology and solid expertise that is driving empathy and business results for many of the world's top organizations.
Collaborating directly with CxO-level customers, you will craft innovative, industry-specific and experience-led strategies which clearly define the vision, an executable roadmap which achieves desired business outcomes, and metrics to measure these outcomes. This role reports directly into the Healthcare Presales Solutions Leader.
Expectations for Success
- Force multiplier for new revenue on key strategic accounts
- Collaborates with the sales organization to penetrate key strategic accounts
- Works closely with sales leadership to direct internal resources to key accounts
- Participates in account reviews with the Sales team
- Facilitates account planning and strategy sessions with the Sales team
- Defines, owns, creates, and refines key GTM solution plays with supporting materials
- Creates and leads training for the sales organization
- Contributes to product and business development activities
A Day in the Life
The Solution Strategist is a senior role that provides CX domain expertise and strategic guidance to both our customers and sales colleagues, particularly in the pre-sales phase of Enterprise scale opportunities. We adopt a highly proactive approach to exploring how best to serve the customers’ needs, challenge the norm and propose new ideas that enable our sales teams to succeed in selling the right solution. We go deep on strategic accounts and are proactive in creating opportunities. We build credibility with clients by offering our CX expertise and strategic guidance in client facing meetings. We apply a strong degree of commercial acumen to develop value propositions that meet our clients needs and help us win the deal.
We often work as part of a virtual team but also travel for client meetings. While most efforts will be focused in a pre-sales environment, some of the additional cross-functional initiatives could include input in product direction, content generation, contributing to analyst reports/relationships, attending events, delivering customer workshops, and directing account based marketing activity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Familiarity with Magnet, CAHPS, and industry standard benchmarking
- Vast healthcare experience within the provider delivery care setting related to experience management
- Extensive interaction with clients in both pre- and post-sales capacities
- Management consulting experience - internally and externally
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to work in a quota-carrying sales environment
- Curiosity to build expertise in Qualtrics' products and solutions
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus
- Up to 25% travel
- 70% client facing, 30% pipeline generation, enablement, and internal cross-functional collaboration
