Cognizant's Digital Business is seeking a Service Line Specialist to help drive Digital Business engagements with our strategic clients.

This is a senior level role, owning sales for Cloud Infrastructure.

LOCATION: Remote preferably Central or West Coast region

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to drive exponential topline growth within large enterprise accounts in Retail & Consumer Goods Industry specifically for Central and West Coast region
  • The ability to influence internal teams across the organization to achieve desired customer outcomes
  • Coordination between the Account Team and various Services lines to create the right solution / pursuit plan
  • Lead new pipeline opportunities by RFP responses, SoW preparation and execution including financial and contract terms, negotiation, and outsourcing discussions
  • Work closely with the BU Leadership Team to define and drive the growth & transformation strategy and service offering
  • Knowledgeable in multiple technical areas specifically in the area of cloud, DC Operations, Security, Data, Network, SRE & DevOps
  • Own and deliver on revenue, margin, pipeline and customer objectives
  • Envision and build new opportunities within existing and new businesses
  • Develop and implement Account Growth strategy and business plans
  • Work in a matrix organization, responsible for prospecting and other sales management goals
  • Experience in prioritizing work within a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering results
  • Proven experience is delivering sales presentations clearly articulating technology, sales and solution designs propositions
  • Overall Practice development

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: 15+ years of experience in consultative selling of Digital, Cloud, Infrastructure and Security Services.
  • Proven ability to handle entire sales lifecycle from opportunity identification (farming) to negotiation/contracting.
  • Capable of working with clients to envision, structure and specify solution requirements.
  • Proven ability to close deals ranging in size from $5M+ to $100M+
  • Strong experience overall Cloud, Infrastructure and Security functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of structuring and editing presentations and proposals using content that is both self-generated and provided by colleagues
  • Self-drive, flexibility and ownership of objectives
  • Logical and structured approach to presenting opinions/views and interpretation of information
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions makers and develop followership among colleagues and subordinates
