Job Description
Note: This individual can reside anywhere in the US with access to a major airport.
The Motorola Solutions SLED Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by selling private LTE/ broadband (LTE, 5G, WiFi, CBRS, etc.) solutions through strategic planning, solution development, technical business enablement and process management. You will join a fast-pace national team dedicated to generating new net opportunities with acquired customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving revenue by selling private LTE/ broadband (LTE, 5G, WiFi, CBRS, etc.) solutions into the SLED market
Develop new sales opportunities for the team while fostering a trusting relationship with customers and delivering business value
Work cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and internal and external business partners to deliver highly scalable and reliable customer experience services and products
Research, understand and analyze the current market trends in wireless telecommunications products and services and network-enable IT products and services including market segmentation analysis
Partner with Solution Architect team to deliver solutions for our clients and close new business
Create high impact presentations designed to highlight additional value to clients
Manage multiple buying contacts within prospective clients and formulation highly impactful organization-wide recommendations
Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure superlative customer experience
Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to help develop product requirements and the product roadmap in line with market requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience selling complex solutions to state, local and education government agencies
Technical expertise and selling experience in LTE, 5G, WiFi, and CBRS
Relevant work experience in the areas of wireless telecommunications employed by telecommunications service providers or equipment manufacturers is highly desirable
Strong relationship development and management skills
Experience utilizing strategic account management practices
CRM (salesforce.com) experience
Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customers
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with proven sales success
Radio Communications and basic understanding of Enterprise Software Solution sales experience a plus
Travel:
Travel demand is 50% of the time.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in sales, technical consulting, and solutions development OR 7+ years of IT sales experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
