Sr. Territory Manager - Automotive Software Sales

About the Role:
As a Sr. Territory Manager you'll have the autonomy to develop a winning plan to successfully convert potential customers within your region. You'll look to close self-generated or sourced leads, partnering with your own Business Development Representative with a strategy you're excited about while having the full support and knowledge base of Epicor at your disposal. Leverage all the available resources including a world-class presales & marketing team to drive growth within your territory and help make Epicor the ERP cloud vendor of choice in the markets we serve.
You will be responsible for selling enterprise software to medium and large companies. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. You will participate in the development of presentations and sales propositions. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
What You'll Do:

  • Generate license and SaaS revenue to Epicor by directly selling Epicor's portfolio of solutions versus competitive offerings to the net new clients in North America
  • Increase the level of field-readiness and overall competitiveness by providing sales strategy, competitive positioning, value identification, partner guidance and executive sponsorship
  • Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline
  • Prospect new and existing accounts to generate a viable pipeline of opportunities within an assigned industry-based account list
  • Develop and execute sales strategy plans on accounts within assigned territory
  • Position Epicor appropriately and effectively with clients considering Epicor solutions
  • Develop reference accounts that are willing to be active in sharing their success with Epicor solutions with prospective customers
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in the Hardlines and Electrical industry
  • Actively participate and provide leadership within industry networking organizations

What You Need to Succeed:

  • You are goal-oriented and highly self-motivated for success, with a proven track record of over achievement and hitting quota
  • Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment, collaboration, leadership and ability to work multiple deals simultaneously
  • Ideal candidates will have experience selling ERP, EPM, BI or similar enterprise applications.
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiations skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives
  • Preffered verticals of Hardline and Electrical

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Business application, e.g. MES, ERP, PLM, SCM etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience in new business sales
  • Bachelor's degree or other educational degree
  • Experience of sculpting enterprise-level SaaS deals
