We're Looking for a Senior Account Manager to help us on our mission to create a happier, healthier world for pets and their people. In this role, you will assist with the launch of new product offerings and maintain a nurturing relationship through account management and collaboration with the outside sales team. This is an opportunity where you will be integral in developing and executing territory business plans, routinely adjusting strategies to maximize performance.
This is a hybrid position and will require 3-5 days per week in the Columbus, OH office.
What You'll Do:
- Nurturing existing accounts through regular check-ins, in person and virtual, ensuring continuous support and maintaining relationships with hospital staff
- Deliver and educate hospitals on Pumpkin via in-person and virtual presentations
- Utilize and become proficient in our CRM (Salesforce) to track and improve customer engagement on a daily basis
- Generate leads and policies, building effective and lasting relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinics
- Educate vet hospitals on the value of Pumpkin insurance and benefits in engaging pet owners
- Partner with our marketing and design teams to create sales collateral, presentation decks, etc.
- Successfully communicate and drive Pumpkin’s newest services and initiativesDevelop and execute territory business plans, routinely adjusting strategies and tactics to maximize performance based on market and customer information/needs
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals within your territory
- Be agile as we continue to grow and business needs change
- 25% Travel requirements to your defined territory for overnight stays
What We're Looking For:
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS)
- 3+ years of sales experience, creating meaningful relationships through phone/messaging/virtual mediums
- Proven presentation and training skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive presentation decks
- Strong prioritization skills with self-starter attitude
- Effective ability to create a strong sales strategy, evaluating opportunities for account generation, account growth and account management.
- Strong peer leadership and ability to influence without authority
- A change agent, continuous learner, and someone who can push themselves/others beyond dominant logic
- Experience working in a highly fluid and ever-changing environment
- Willingness to work evenings and across various time zones
- Ability to pass/obtain a Property & Casualty License within 30 days
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Animal health/hospital experience
- P&C license
