About the Role

The Senior Sales Operations Associate will help drive the day-to-day success of the sales organization by managing core elements of the Sales structure, including territory planning, quotas, commission payouts, process improvements and core reporting. This highly analytical and process-oriented person will be strategic advisor to the global sales and operations leadership teams, and will be responsible for helping crack some of the most important problems facing the revenue organization. You will use data to develop the insights needed to enable our rapidly growing and highly successful sales team to exceed their goals. G2 is headquartered in Chicago, however this role can be located remotely within the US. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Help define the strategy and operationalize critical components of the Sales structure, such as quotas, territories, sales compensation plans, and account distribution
  • Partner with senior sales leadership and sales executives to solve strategic and operational challenges such as territory planning, account prioritization, and streamline lead and opportunity workflows maximizing the Sales tech stack.
  • Proactively identify insights to senior sales leadership that improves pipeline management and increases the likelihood to exceed goals.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to track KPIs for overall Sales Org performance
  • Perform custom analyses that uncover the drivers of business and sales performance 
  • Collaborate with Systems team to automate processes to make the sales team more effective and efficient
  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other sales operations and cross functional teams (e.g., sales leadership, finance, marketing, HR, and business operations)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Revenue, Sales or Business Operations with experience managing quotas, territories, compensation plans, and the sales funnel
  • Highly skilled building reporting insights using Salesforce & Microsoft Excel 
  • Experience maximizing a complex tech stack
  • Proactive self-starter and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 

What can help your application stand out: 

  • A successful candidate will be a highly-analytical self-starter, have strong attention to detail, be comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about establishing a data-driven culture
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of SaaS sales process and buying engagements
  • Experience with Clari, or similar Sales Enablement Platforms
  • Experience using data visualization tools (ex. Tableau, PowerBI) developing the insights to improve decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal, and relationship building, skills
