Guideline is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Manager to partner with our sales leaders. 

What will you be working on?

As an essential part of our go to market team, Sales Operations plays a critical role in enabling the sales team by identifying key insights through data reporting and analysis, delivering strategic recommendations, and driving operations and technology solutions. This role provides a unique opportunity that will allow you to support and help shape how we accelerate growth at Guideline.

You will lead a small but crucial team that works closely with our Sales, Marketing, Partnership, Product, Data and Finance teams and requires excellent cross-functional acumen. You will lead the sales operations strategy and be responsible for executing scaled improvements and delivering efficiency insights. You’ll also: 

  • Deliver, maintain, and evolve a best-in-class sales operational process 
  • Work directly with members of our go-to-market teams to help identify and implement automation, optimize workflows, and drive efficient outcomes for stakeholders
  • Demonstrate and educate go-to-market leaders on operational best practices
  • Develop and execute against a strategic plan of quarterly goals and initiatives with your team and with cross-functional teams
  • Be responsible for the maintenance and iteration of our Sales Incentive Plan
  • Get your hands dirty enhancing and troubleshooting our tools and data

Candidates should be highly self-motivated to drive leveraged results, approach problems with an analytical mindset, and be open and flexible with dynamic thinking. This role will report to the Director of Sales. 

The ultimate goal is to expand our retirement platform technology footprint with new clients through our ecosystem partners and present Guideline’s solution to new prospects and leads, and help drive the growth of Guideline.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of highly analytical experience, ideally in sales operations, revenue operations or business operations. Experience at a fast-paced technology company or start-up preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant leadership experience running a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations team
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and guide reports 
  • Comfortable making decisions on project direction
  • In-depth understanding of SalesForce admin work and experience deploying new systems (SalesForce Admin Certification a plus)
  • Expert at using analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau) to drive organizational insights 
  • Experience implementing and optimizing sales engagement platforms (MarketingCloud is a plus)
  • Experience implementing and optimizing sales training and enablement tools
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills: intense attention to detail
  • Thorough experience analyzing data to drive insights and decision-making
  • True passion for solving problems - ability to creatively solve complex problems that provide tangible results within our Sales organization
