As a Sales Engineer for UiPath Document Understanding and AI Center, you will be responsible for executing the technical GTM strategy for DU&AI in the field, working directly with UiPath Core and Growth Sellers. In this role, you will work closely with the Growth Sales Specialists, Core Sellers, and Core SEs/PTCs to drive Pilots to closure as well as help fine tune the value proposition and influence the product roadmap. As the DU&AI Solution Engineer within the Growth Sales team, you will be the domain expert for technical pursuits within a specific region/area and assist with partners, product, as well as assist in driving the DU&AI strategy.


This role represents a unique opportunity to play a major part in the success of UiPath’s growth. We are therefore seeking only truly exceptional Sales Engineers who will be ‘at home’ building, leading, and working cross-functionally to drive success.

You must be able to lead, thrive, and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be discouraged or hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Not only must you be able to develop and drive technical execution within your remit, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done, whether it’s designing new use cases, track and analyse technical feature requests, understand market competitors, and own key strategic opportunities.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Own, define and drive the technical execution of DU and AI
  • Drive revenue growth through a combination of pilot execution, cross selling DU&AI/use cases to existing customers and targeted new customers, including the support of local partners
  • Translate business requirements into quick pilot/prototypes
  • Comfortably deliver client facing material and presentations
  • Contribute to building various artefacts required for internal sales, partner sales, and other teams, such as Differentiators, Battle-cards, Value Proposition, Qualification criteria
  • Work closely with Global Services and Consulting teams on the delivery of professional service

What you'll bring to UiPath

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership and client-facing, in a technology firm, preferably with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), AI, OCR, NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning and ML
  • The ability to lead, drive and close technical pilots
  • Work with tools and processes supporting large-scale datasets
  • Flair for reaching out to and working cross-functionally in a scaling environment
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple, competing, and conflicting priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and product adoption
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business proficiency
  • Willing and able to travel 50% (post COVID-19)
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in engineering / technology or Management
