The Red Hat Operations team is looking for a Senior Manager, Ecosystem Readiness to join us. In this role, you will report to the Global Ecosystem and Technical Sales Operations leader with a dotted line to the leader of Sales Enablement and Development (SE&D) and coordinate with the global and regional Partner Ecosystem leadership teams toward building, sustaining, and measuring mastery of specific sales skills, tools, and behaviors, contributing to best practices in pursuit of improved fulfillment of ecosystem objectives and goals. You'll be a member of Red Hat's Global Sales Operations and Enablement team helping to coordinate the readiness, enablement, and development of Partner Ecosystem teams. This requires you to be results oriented and passionate about helping sales executives exceed sales targets by focusing on readiness, enablement, and development of skills, tools, and processes necessary to fulfill Red Hat's go-to-market strategy.
As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a small team of professionals, including a readiness and enablement specialist, a Global Partner Ecosystems process owner, and a Program Manager - feeding partner requirements related to the Strategic Portfolio Program (SPP) being managed by IT. You and your team will guide operational excellence by working with a team of sales operations business readiness specialists, supporting different areas of the business including business process management, communication, automation, and business systems focused on Salesforce.com as well as global portfolio and technical enablement teams. You'll need to have previous experience managing inbound requests from sales associates, leaders, and support teams demonstrating the capability to prioritize, govern, and coordinate delivery of enablement, development, and readiness programs through effective program and project management skills. Additionally, you'll work in cross functional partnership to help prioritize and coordinate various enablement organizations deliverables, seeking to align segment requirements with global enablement team's priorities and deliverables. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Support the fulfillment of the readiness strategy for the Global Ecosystem and Technical Sales teams
  • Lead the capture of systems and tooling requirements, feed into our systems modernization efforts and SPP
  • Create and optimize blueprints for global partner process excellence
  • Be responsible for uncovering gaps in current programs, processes, and skills across your assigned sales team and presenting findings back to the Global Sales Enablement and Development team
  • Be responsible for understanding varying maturity of sales regions to position the right programs to the right audiences
  • Maintain close alignment to all managers, segment sales leadership to front line sales managers, to understand their goals and challenges and gather feedback to share back with greater SE&D team
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously, based on prioritization
  • Assess performance of sales teams with sales leaders and members of the sales operations team to prioritize enablement strategies and tactics and delivery to the field
  • Partner with local sales associates and first-line managers to deliver development programs and processes that meet the requirements of all Red Hat sales and sales support teams
  • Represent sales in the development of large Sales-focused events (Sales Kick Offs, partner events, large sales mgmt meetings, etc)
  • Continually work on evolving global enablement programs based on feedback from sales regions
  • Deliver role-based training sessions when required
  • Work directly with sales curriculum architects and Red Hat University to assist in coordinating on-boarding programs, sales management programs, and ongoing sales education
  • Design and implement metrics to measure program impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments in region
  • Facilitate ongoing sales enablement program delivery via sales enablement team, other internal corporate resources and select outside experts as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support the Red Hat culture


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills combined with ability to influence, network, solve problems, and manage conflicts and change management
  • Commercial understanding of a multiproduct software strategy to help achieve results
  • 3+ years of sales enablement, operations, or management experience, or equivalent,
  • Experience in behavioral science, ability to communicate effectively from a behavioral science perspective
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of complex technical acquisition and sales strategy delivery
  • Ability to take high-level sales strategies and develop structured plans, actions, and metrics to measure during delivery
  • Excellent program management and multi-tasking skills to manage disparate enablement programs
  • Familiarity with sales processes and sales delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
