We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Deal Desk who will lead and scale our Deal Desk team, operations, systems and processes at the company.

Senior Manager of Deal Desk will report to our General Counsel and partner with Sales, Accounting, Finance, and Legal (among others) to optimize for customer experience, sales efficiency, revenue potential, profitability, and compliance.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience working in enterprise software / SaaS industry (Deal Desk, Legal, Finance or Sales Operations experience preferred)
  • Prior team lead or management experience required
  • Proven success partnering with cross-functional teams including various go-to-market teams (Sales, Customer Success, Sales Ops), Legal, and Accounting
  • Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition and order process principles
  • Ability to work independently, and set priorities and business objectives
  • Experience in deal structuring particularly among large enterprise agreements
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Zuora, and various CPQ applications
  • Experience with CLMs is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative, and strong attention to details

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead the team, systems, and processes to facilitate structuring and execution of all sales transactions at the company
  • Provide expert guidance to go-to-market teams in the areas of deal structuring, pricing, contract management, and non-standard structuring requests.
  • Provide guidance to go-to-market teams and management on financial implications of deal terms
  • Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoint, and enforcement of internal controls and approvals
  • Implement policies, processes, and systems improvements to improve sales efficiency, quote processing, and bookings policy governance
  • Update, manage, and enforce the company’s bookings policy in close consultation with Accounting and Finance
  • Hire, grow, retain, and mentor a passionate team eager to learn and excel
