Job summary
The Red Hat North America Sales Operations team is looking for a Senior Manager, Business to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for sales and operational process improvement, tooling automation, enablement, and training across the organization. You will lead a team of program managers, business analysts, and training specialists to operationalize and roll out end-to-end business solutions leading to successful adoption and sales process efficiency improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership including, Geo Sales or Sales Ops Leadership, Global Sales Operations and Enablement, Global Marketing Operations, Partner and Alliances, Services, and IT teams in support of strategic goals and initiatives. As the Senior Manager, you are responsible for supporting North America Sales onboarding and continuous education experience through the development and facilitation of enablement and training programs. To succeed in this role, you need the ability to lead the breadth of operations across a matrixed organization as well as be involved and understand the details of the business and organizational operations.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of strategic business plans and objectives across multiple areas and departments
  • Identify opportunities and take initiative to streamline and improve existing processes
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on the development of business cases and prioritization of deliverables
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Manage the quality assurance (QA) testing of solutions to ensure features and functions have been delivered and optimized
  • Coordinate and report on process, project, and initiative assignments; develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to monitor and report results
  • Be responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of new learning programs
  • Identify ways to enhance learning effectiveness and modify content and delivery to continually improve the sales user training experience
  • Lead onboarding processes and program to accelerate assimilation of new joiners to the organization
  • Effectively manage communications throughout all types of work from projects to operations, with excellent escalation judgment


Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, IT or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of sales process experience with a solid focus on project management or delivery
  • Prior experience working in a large, geographically distributed organization
  • Experience in managing large-scale change across an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including new technology
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business environment
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and systems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, meet critical deadlines, and communicate effectively
  • Customer-focused, with demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with people of all levels
  • Good knowledge prioritization and resource allocation procedures; ability to negotiate and mediate business needs
  • Ability to affect, inspect, and adapt company culture
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals across the organization
  • Excellent leadership and management skills; ability to to influence and guide outcomes
  • Deep knowledge of sales tools like Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Community Cloud, Apttus CPQ, Apttus CLM, Docusign, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, People.ai, WalkMe
  • Experience with enablement, training, and practical applied learnings in change management or acceleration is a plus
