Description

The Senior Liquidity Sales Specialist role is responsible for meeting the deposit and liquidity goals of a Commercial business region or industry vertical. The role sits within the Treasury Solutions group with the broad objective to drive revenue growth by optimizing customer liquidity. This is achieved through sales, portfolio management, and forecasting activities in partnership with Commercial Bankers, Team Leaders, and Division Executives.

This position has a geographical focus on Citizen's South region. Some travel is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Bankers to identify new prospects and calling plans.
  • Act as Trusted Advisor to clients through direct engagement; understand their needs and design appropriate liquidity solutions.
  • Maintain strong pipeline to ensure sales goals will be achieved.
  • Manage deposit costs and drive portfolio optimization objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to Bankers and Team Leaders on market & industry trends, product enhancements, and client issues.
  • Partner with Division Executives to align goals and sales activities. Provide regular updates on KPIs to Division Executives and adjust sales activities as needed to ensure timely delivery of financial commitments.
  • Work with Liquidity Product, Liquidity Pricing & Analytics, and client services teams to respond to customer inquiries and feedback in real-time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years liquidity or cash management experience
  • In-depth understanding of deposit value drivers including funds transfer price, regulatory costs, and financial markets
  • Detailed knowledge of Treasury Solutions products a plus
  • Strong communications skills
  • Consultative, solutions-based selling
  • Demonstrates integrity and honesty
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic; self-directed and motivated to achieve results

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • MBA, CFA, and CTP preferred
