Job Description
Provides operational business support for business partners to include project managing partner on-boards, trains partners on our tools and systems, leads operational project to implement new products, releases and solutions, along with resolving escalated customer issues. Responsible for managing operational relationships with complex and large partners while coaching and training junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Consults and manages unique and complex partners that have strategic importance to the network.
- Acts as coach to peers and mentor to AEs. Coordinates and facilitates Account Executive training for new and existing AEs. May have oversight of personnel.
- Seeks opportunities for improvement within the department, including providing guidance and support on client-impacting issues, looking for a holistic approach to solve across multiple clients.
- Subject Matter expert on Authorization and settlement applications and other internal systems, tools, and products.
- Leads strategic department projects, supporting other company project and initiatives.
- Support leadership team to define the process improvement scope (mission, vision), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics.
- Manage full life-cycle of complex cross-functional process improvement initiatives with considerable impact across multiple functions. Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and technical teams to determine what initiatives move forward and in what priority order.
- Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s), system capabilities, insufficient
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field
- 6+ years experience with Payments, financial services, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Payments, financial services or related field
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
- A payments subject matter expert with solid track record of expertise in operational excellence and process improvements.
- Analytical background in functionality of improving partnerships
- Bi-lingual, Spanish preferred
