Your Role and Responsibilities

Preference to hire in one of the following cities: San Francisco CA, San Jose CA, Seattle WA with flexibility to reside in reasonable commutable distance

The successful candidates will become a key part of an innovative business unit within IBM, working with and across all aspects of the corporation, from development through manufacturing and logistics, supply chain and sales, expanding our presence as the premier technology innovator to this target market. You will have demonstrated a capability to develop and work across all levels of a client decision making environment, from senior leadership on down to technologists and architects. A balance of both technical and business skills, along with demonstrated leadership, is expected. The opportunity to develop your business acumen and broaden your skillset awaits.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years Technology Sales to Large Scale Enterprises
  • Demonstrated ability to sell across multiple stakeholders, from technical to executive
  • Working knowledge of large program management
  • Proven ability to create demand within a large client organization - identifying problems not previously understood by the organization


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • MBA or equivalent
  • 5 Years Direct sales to HyperScale clients (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Apple)
  • Working knowledge of Storage Technologies and differentiators
  • Experience with competitive tape automation offerings (SpectraLogic, Quantum)
  • Experience working with ODM suppliers
