The Senior Director, Sales reports to the General Manager and is a key member of Radiometer America's leadership team. This role will direct and supervise all the sales functions for Radiometer America, a subsidiary of Radiometer Medical, in support of strategic and annual business plans including US Blood Gas, Transcutaneous Monitoring, Canada Sales, and Adjacent Market Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in annual strategic planning for Radiometer America.
  • Plan, control, and direct all sales functions to meet organizational objectives including sales revenue, pricing, margin, and unit expectations
  • Devise, implement, and execute the Radiometer America Action Plan (Sales).
  • Embrace and apply DBS (Danaher Business System) tools and attitude to problem solve, champion continuous improvement and course correct wherever necessary
  • Own and drive adoption and usage of the Radiometer CRM (Customer Relationship Manager)
  • Establish compensation and sales incentive programs
  • Evaluate geographical territories/regions for adequate sales coverage.
  • Collaborate with other Divisions within Radiometer (Service, Marketing, Finance etc.) where necessary
  • Lead, empower, engage, inspire, and coach the sales organization including promotion of diversity and inclusion
  • Analyze and evaluate market conditions and sales statistics for competitive advantage.


Position Requirements

  • 5+ years in executive sales management with proven leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in establishing market leadership in Point of Care and Critical Care diagnostics
  • Strong financial background supporting the selling process (P&L, return on investment, Budgeting, forecasting, etc)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in continuous improvement processes, implementation, and sustainment
  • Experience in driving strategic and tactical initiatives to meet organizational objectives
  • Experience and ability to build and maintain highly successful, motivated and engaged sales teams
  • Primary language English
  • Windows, Outlook, Dynamics CRM, Power BI
  • Up to 70% travel

Key Relationshipsa) Internal

  • Must communicate timely and accurately with the General Manager and Radiometer America Leadership Team, which includes the Field Service Director, Marketing and Customer Excellence Director, National Accounts Director, HR Director, DBS Leader, and Senior Project Manager.


b) External

  • Must support and commit to fostering collaborative relationships with key customers, Radiometer Medical Corporate Headquarters, and Danaher Diagnostics Platform key clients and partners.
