Job Description
We are an entrepreneurial team responsible for successful launch of a new money movement service platform (Worlpay RealNet) into the NA Market with multiple go-to-market use cases and value propositions, addressing needs in the B2B, B2C and Financial Institution space. You will be working as part of the RealNet venture team to connect into the FIS sales and product organizations (Capital Markets, Merchant and Banking), responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies based on RealNet goals and objectives to support and accelerate growth and market adoption. Your role will be crucial to our success and growth, bringing along an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to socialize and inspire the existing FIS organization and other team members on our new solution unlocking revenue opportunities with our incumbent customer base.
What you will be doing:
Working in close collaboration with the other functional leaders, and reporting to the Head of North America real time payments, you will be responsible for supporting and driving business development and market management in conjunction w/ the VPs of Commercialization for Merchant and non-Merchant. You will play a critical role delivering on value propositions, use case development, deal structuring, and sales enablement.
This role will direct use case and segment specific pricing and growth strategies for the North America market as well as regularly document and share market specific competitive intelligence. The individual will also be responsible for driving awareness of payments trends (internally and externally), particularly around fintech and real time payments as well as supporting complex strategic transactions and partnerships.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports sales, business, and finance interlock
  • Supports development of streamlined approval process with legal, finance and business to deliver proposals faster with all necessary approvals; includes SLA review
  • Supports complex deal review and profitability analysis
  • Find ways to further empower salespeople and optimize scaled selling
  • Drives best practices for deal structuring (DOs & DONTs) and engage sales team
  • Provides commercial input/analysis for new business development initiatives, new product pricing; margin review
  • Plans and develops the execution/ROI for sales campaigns and monitors overall GTM campaign progress
  • Creates financial models and analyses to evaluate solution proposals. Where appropriate, develops alternative business models and deal structures to improve the deal economics and customer value proposition.
  • Supports sales team in negotiating commercials terms and providing guidance on negotiation strategies and deal terms.
  • Manages internal review of client proposals with key internal stakeholders. Prepares and presents transaction summary to relevant executive leadership.
  • Analyses pricing trends in the market and benchmark studies in a rapidly changing landscape


What you bring:
The ideal candidate will be execution oriented, assertive, and organized with sound business judgment. The role requires strong analytical, commercial and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced deal environment. The successful candidate will be client facing as well as work directly with sales, product management and technology operations to ensure the business delivers on top and bottom line objectives by managing sales interlock, overseeing complex deal reviews, accelerating deal approval processes and generally driving the commercial outcomes across the enterprise, but with an initial focus on the Merchant Line of Business.
Specific competencies and experiences include:
Commercial Acumen & Strategy:

  • Excellent strategic thinking skills coupled with a track record of successful transformational leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of legal and finance aspects of commercial transactions, in order to assess and influence deal structure
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong understanding of software products and IT services including offering structures, different business models, product positioning, technology and market trends
  • Strong problem-solving ability, and practical experience in delivering complex solutions in a fast-moving business landscape.
  • Intermediate MS Excel financial modeling skills required (macros and pivot table experience preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • Partners with solution suite owners to develop solution proposal pricing on complex transactions which may include a combination of software, professional services, hosting, and business process outsourcing. The transactions may also involve offerings spanning multiple business units.
